To friends and colleagues for Emmy nominations and awards given last night, John Adams' Laura Linney (a splendid Abigail) and David Morse (a phenomenally good George Washington), as Mad Men's sly devil of an adman Roger, John Slattery, and as Weeds' incomparable Nancy, Mary Louise Parker. 

And am very pleased to see Jeremy Piven win one for his Ari.
