Caught this 2007 Woody Allen film on DVD recently--was struck by how wonderfully he had written it in working-class London speak (for the most part). Reading comments at imdb, no one seems to have noticed--I mean English people--so that tells you something. You really don't think about it--and yet Woody Allen's own linguistic style is well-known, unique--well done, Woody, bravo.
